RV 5.48 Strategy for Progress in this world
1.कदु प्रियाय धाम्ने मनामहे स्वक्षत्राय स्वयशसे महे वयम् |
आमेन्यस्य रजसो यदभ्र आँ अपो वृणाना वितनोति मायिनी || ऋ5.48.1
किस प्रकार अपने राष्ट्र अपने जन्म स्थान – क्षेत्र के यश और प्रगति के लिए चारों ओर प्रकृति की मेघादि जलों की उदार वृत्तियों को स्वीकार करती हुयी अनुकूल बुद्धि ग्रहण करें ?
What are the strategies for adopting one’s place of birth, his life and nation to attain fame and prosperity by making use of nature’s benevolent bounties like rains and sun shine?
2.ता अत्नत वयुनं वीरवक्षणं समान्या वृतया विश्वमा रजः |
अपो अपाचीरपरा अपेजते प्र पूर्वाभिस्तिरते देवयुर्जनः || ऋ5.48.2
देवताओं की विद्वत्ता की कामना करते हुए साधारण जन और वीर जनों के कर्म और प्रज्ञान के आवरण को लोक लोकांतर में उसी प्रकार सब को नीचे की ओर बढ़ाते हैं , जिस प्रकार जल अपनी पूर्ववत् वृत्ति से नीचे को बह कर निरन्तर उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करता है
It is by intelligent use nature’s bounties to employ them in the form of negative entropy like working against water’s tendency to flow from higher levels to lower levels that scientists devise means of progress by using negative entropy.
3.आ ग्रावभिरहन्येभिरक्तुभिर्वरिष्
शतं वा यस्य प्रचरन्त्स्वे दमे संवर्त्तयन्तो वि च वर्त्तयन्नहा ||ऋ5.48.3
यद्यपि सूर्य की सैंकड़ो किरणें दिन रात के चक्र को चलाती हुइ पाषानों को वज्र के समाकरती और न विदीर्ण मानव की आयु /जीवनको क्षीण करती लगती हैं. परंतु बुद्धिमत्ता से जीवन शैलि सूर्य के इस व्यवहार का उत्तम रूप देख पाती हैं. जैसा यजुर्वेद में विस्तार से कहा है;
It appears that Solar energy that destroys rocks with strong force and works on aging of human body , but there is a hidden positive aspect to this. By intelligent life style the solar bounties are a boon. “ अश्मन्नूर्जं पर्वते शिश्रियाणामद्भय ओषधीभ्यो वनस्पतिभ्यो अधि सम्भ्रतं पय: |
तां न इष्मूर्जं धत्त मरुत: संरराणा अश्मँस्तेक्षुनमयि त ऊर्ग्यं द्विष्मस्तं ते शुगृच्छतु || यजु 17.1”
यह सूर्य की किरणो पर्वतों पर चट्टानों को विदीर्ण कर के उर्वरक भूमि और मेघों से जल की वृष्टि द्वारा अन्न और ओषधी के साधन उत्पन्न करके कर मानव को जीवन को संरक्षण प्रदान करते हैं.
Solar heat in conjunction with microbes facilitates the disintegration of rocks in the mountains to create fertile virgin soil for excellent growth of pants and herbs.
4.तामस्य रीतिं परशोरिव प्रत्यनीकमख्यं भुजे अस्य वर्पसः |
सचा यदि पितुमन्तमिव क्षयं रत्नं दधाति भरहूतये विशे ||ऋ5.48.4
1. परशु के समान तीक्ष्ण चुभने वाली अग्नि के समान सूर्य के ताप का सुंदर रूप मानव को ऐश्वर्य पदान करने के लिए है. यदि उस सौर ऊर्जा का सद्प्रयोग किया जाए.
2. The scorching heat of sun by its intelligent use is an excellent source to provide sustainable prosperity to human life style .
5.स जिह्वया चतुरनीक ऋञ्जते चारु वसानो वरुणो यतन्नरिम |
न तस्य विद्म पुरुषत्वता वयं यतो भगः सविता दाति वार्यम ||ऋ5.48.5
3. उत्तम जीवन व्यवस्थाके लिए सूर्य की ज्योति का उपयोग करने के चार प्रकार के साधनों पर अनुसंधान करके पुरुषार्थ से कार्यान्वित करना चाहिए. ( आधुनिक विज्ञान प्रौद्योगिकी के अनुसार सौर ऊर्जा से इन चार प्रकारसे लाभ लेना चाहिए.
4. 1. गृह निर्माण पद्धति जिस से प्राकृतिक रूप से घर में रहने के तापमानको नियंत्रित किया जा सके.
5. 2. सौर ऊर्ज से ऊष्णता के साधन जैसे पानी गरम करना,सौर ऊर्जा चालित चुल्हा, सुअर ऊर्जा से भिन्न भिन्न वस्तुओं का उपचार

For excellent (sustainable) living four strategies are talked about to make use of the solar bounties to pursue research, develop knowledge, make efforts and utilize them.
Modern technology mentions the following four strategies.
Four Methods of Solar energy utilization
1.Passive solar energy: This is the simplest and least expensive form of solar power. Unfortunately, it requires that your home be specifically designed to take advantage of solar heat, and situated on a lot to take maximum advantage of the sun’s rays. You can design passive solar capability into new construction, but this method is not applicable to existing homes.
2.Solar energy for heat: This is the oldest use of solar energy. Using relatively inexpensive flat plate collectors, heat from the sun’s rays is used to heat air, water, or other fluid that flows through coils in the panels. This heat can then be used to heat the water for your home or the home itself.
3.Solar energy for electricity: This method uses a photovoltaic (PV) solar power panel that converts sunlight into electricity. This power can be used to power your home’selectrical lighting and appliances. However, ancillary systems (storage batteries, inverters) are required to provide the right kind of electricity throughout the day and night. And it still takes a large surface area of PV cells to provide sufficient electrical power for the average home.
4. Inexpensive applications for solar energy in the yard or garden: You can use very inexpensive small photovoltaic panels to provide electrical power for yard lighting, solar pumps for water features, solar electric fencing, even a solar oven. These applications won’t save as much as powering your home with solar, but they also don’t cost much.
