इस्लाम में हूरों पर बहुत कुछ लिखा गया यह वह माल है जो अल्लाह जन्नत में मुसलमानों को अदा करेगा. इकबाल ने हूरों लिखा है :

उमीदे-हूर ने सब कुछ सिखा रक्खा है, वायज़ को,
ये हज़रत देखने में सीधे-सादे भोले-भाले हैं

इसी तरह एक और शेर इकबाल का है :

न कर दें मुझ को मजबूर-ए-नवाँ फ़िर्दौस में हूरें
मेरा सोज़-ए-दुरूँ फिर गर्मी-ए-महफ़िल न बन जाए

इस्लामिक मान्यता के अनुसार जन्नत के मुसलमान हमेशा के लिए कयामत के बाद जन्नत में दाखिल हो जायेंगे और वहां उन्हें हूरें अता की जायेंगी जो उनसे मन बहला सकेंगे.इन हूरों से जन्नतियों के विवाह कर दिए जायेंगे .

” और हम गोरी गोरी मृगनयनी स्त्रियों से उनका विवाह कर देंगे ” कुरान सूरा अद दुखान आयत ५४ (३३:५४ )

इस्लाम में हूरों की महत्ता का पता गाजी अली के की दी हुयी इस घटना से लगता है कि किस तरह मौमीनों को हूरों के खोने का डर सताता है :

The sage Malek-b-Dinar said: One night I forgot my duty and began to sleep. I found in dream a beautiful young girl with a letter in her hand saying to me: Can you read this letter? I said Yes. She handed over to me the letter which contained:-

What! joy and hope have destroyed you!
Has youf mind forgot the hope of Hurs?
You will stay in paradise without death.
You will make enjoyment then with Hurs.
So rise up from sleep, it is best for you.

जन्नत में कितनी हूरें मुसलामानों को नसीब होंगी इसके बारे में कुरान खामोश है केवल हूर के लिए बहुवचन का प्रयोग किया है.

पण्डित देव प्रकाश जी ( भूतपूर्व आचार्य अरबी संस्कृत महाविद्यालय अमृतसर ) ने अपनी पुस्तक में एक हदीस का हवाला दिया है :

” एक व्यक्ति ने हजरत मुहम्मद से प्रश्न किया – कि स्वर्ग में जमा (स्त्री सम्भोग ) भी करेंगे ? आपने फ़रमाया :- कि व्यक्ति को अहले जन्नत में इतनी शक्ती मिलेगी कि तुम में से सत्तर पुरुषों से अधिक होगी .
हजरत ने फरमाया कि एक व्यक्ति ५०० हूर चार हजार बाकर (क्वारी) स्त्रियों आठ हजार विवाहिता स्त्रियों से विवाह करेगा और उनमें से प्रत्येक के साथ इतना सम्बन्ध करगा जितना संसार में जीवित रहा होगा .
स्वर्ग में बाजार :
हज़रत ने फरमाया :- कि स्वर्ग में एक बाज़ार है जहाँ पुरुषों और स्त्रिओं के हुस्न के अतिरिक्त और किसी वस्तु का क्रय विक्रय नहीं होता पास जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी हसीन स्त्री कि ख्वाइश करेगा तो वह उस बाजार में जायेगा जहाँ बड़ी बड़ी आँखों वाली हूरें जमा हैं …………………..

यही गाजी अली ने अपनी पुस्तक में भी दिया है :
A man asked the Prophet : O Prophet of God, will the inmates of Paradise have sexual intercourse ? He said: Anybody among them will be given sexual strength of seven persons among you. The Prophet said : An inmate of Paradise will have five hundred hurs, four thousand unmarried women and eight thousand widowed women. Each of them will keep embracing him for the duration of his whole worldly life time. He also said : There will be markets in Paradise in which there will be no buy and sale, but there will be men and women. If any man will wish to have sexual intercourse with a woman, he will do at once. The Hurs will sing in Paradise on divine purity and praise—we are most beautiful Hurs and we are for the honored husbands.

The Prophet said to a man: O servant of God, if you enter Paradise, you will get what you will desire, what your eyes will be pleased with. The Prophet said : If an inmate of Paradise will wish to have a son born to him, he will get it. Its stay in womb, its weaning away from milk and its youth will come to pass at the same time. He also said : The inmantes of Paradise will be beardless and hairless. Their colour will be white and their eyes painted with collyrium. They will be youths of 33 years of age. They will be sixty cubits long and seven cubits broad. He also said : The lowest rank of an inmate of Paradise will have eighty thousand servants and seventy two wives. In short there will be such bliss in Paradise which no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no heart has conceived.

गाजी अली अपनी पुस्तक में लिखते हैं कि हजरत ने एक व्यक्ति से कहा ओ अल्लाह के सेवक यदि तुम जन्नत में जाते हो तो तुम्हें वह सब मिल्त्गा जिसकी तुम्हें इच्छा है और जिससे तुम्हारी आखें प्रसन्न हों यदि स्वर्ग के निवासी को पुत्र कि चाहत है तो उसे पुत्र हो जायेगा ……………………… सबसे निचले दर्जे के निवासी के पास अस्सी हजार नौकर और बहत्तर पत्नियाँ होंगी
In a reply to the question of Abu Bakar , Muhammad said: In that palace, he will have three lac Hurs who will look with askance eye : Whenever any Hur who will look at a person he will say : Do you remember such and such a day when you enjoined good and forbade evil ?

गाजी अली अपनी पुस्तक में लिखते हैं कि हजरत ने अबू बकर को एक प्रश्न के जवाब में कहा कि वहां तीन लाख हूरें होंगी .

Chapter 23. What Has Been Related About What Bounties There Are For The Lowest Inhabitants Of Paradise

2562. Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: “The least of the people of Paradise in position is the one with eighty thousand servants and seventy-two wives. He shall have a tent of pearl, peridot, and corundum set up for him, (the size of which is) like that which is between Al-Jabiyyah 11 and San’a’.” And with this chain, it is narrated from the Prophet it that he said: “Whoever of the people of (destined to enter) Paradise dies, young or old, they shall be brought back in Paradise thirty years old, they will not increase in that ever, and likewise the people of the Fire.” And with this chain, it is narrated
— Al-Tirmidhi, Vol 4 page no 548

इसी प्रकार तिर्मधी में आता है कि हजरत ने फरमाया कि कम से कम हरेक व्यक्ति को अस्सी हजार नौकर और बहत्तर पत्नियाँ होंगी ……………….

इसी को इनबे कसीर ने अपनी तफसीर में भी लिखा है कि : हजरत को कहते सूना गया कि जन्नत के निवासी को कम से कम अस्सी हज़ार नौकर और बहत्तर पत्नियां दी जायेंगी

सहीह अल बुखारी में अबू हुरैरा से रिवायत है कि हज़रत ने फरमाया कि जन्नत में जाने वाला प्रथम समूह पूर्ण चाँद कि तरह चमक रहा होगा और दूसरा समूह आसमान में श्रेष्ट तारे कि भांति चमक रहा होगा उनमें आपस में कोई मन मुटाव नहीं होगा वो एक ही ह्रदय कि तरह होंगे और उनमें से प्रत्येक के दो हूरों से निकाह होंगे .

पण्डित देवप्रकाश जी अपनी पुस्तक में लिखते हैं कि अब देखिये कि प्रत्येक स्वर्ग निवासी को न जाने कितनी हूरें गिल्मान और पत्नियाँ प्राप्त होंगी इस पर भी खुदा को स्वर्ग वालों के लिए हूरों के बाजार खोलने कि आवश्यकता अनुभव हुयी इन हदीस ने तो मानों इस्लाम के चरित्र का दिवाला ही निकाल दिया है . क्या मुसलमान इस सम्बन्ध में सोचने को तत्पर होंगे .
